1. PAYMENT POLICY: All fees are drafted on the 1st of each month from August through May. A valid credit card or bank account must remain on file. Accounts must stay current—no exceptions. If unpaid by the 15th, the athlete must sit out of practice until balances are paid. Accounts over 30 days past due will result in dismissal and referral to collections. Fees are divided into 12 monthly payments and cover tuition, competition fees, practice wear, choreography, music, and coaching. Full-year payments may be made upfront via cash or credit card to avoid monthly billing or late fees.

2. ATTENDANCE POLICY: Consistent attendance is essential to team success. All absences must be reported in advance in a timely manner. Excused absences include illness, family emergencies, or bereavement (limit: 3). Up to 3 unexcused absences (e.g., non-competition season vacations) are permitted. Additional absences may result in dismissal with no refund, and Buyout Contract terms will apply. No absences are allowed the week of a competition. Participation in other activities should not conflict with dance.

3. COMMUNICATION POLICY: Each team will have a private GroupMe for official updates and reminders. Social media pages (e.g., Facebook, Instagram) may be used for sharing photos and videos only. Group chats are not to be used for personal questions, billing, or complaints—please contact staff directly for such matters. Parents are responsible for staying informed and must keep contact information current and up to date on Dance Studio Pro. For team-related concerns, you may email the Fierce Director at info@fierceorlando.com to request a meeting if necessary.

4. TRAVEL & COMPETITIONS: All transportation and accommodations are the responsibility of each family. Competitions are mandatory—missed events will result in immediate dismissal with no refund, and Buyout Contract terms will apply. Athletes must follow all appearance requirements, including designated hair, makeup, and items listed on the itinerary. Some events may require dancers to stay until awards are over; advance notice will be provided. Athletes must be accompanied by a parent or adult chaperone. All attendees are expected to represent Fierce professionally and respectfully. Spirit wear is encouraged and available for purchase starting in July.

5. UNIFORMS & PRACTICE WEAR: Athletes are responsible for maintaining their uniforms and practice wear in good condition. Lost, damaged, or misplaced items must be replaced at the family’s expense, including applicable taxes and shipping. All personal items must be stored in designated cubbies during practice—items left on the floor are not permitted. To avoid confusion, label all clothing clearly, as team members wear identical or similar sizes. Uniforms will be updated on a two-year cycle.

6. TEAM PRACTICES: Athletes must arrive on time, fully prepared, and dressed in scheduled practice wear (hair up, shoes on). Tardiness or incorrect attire will result in post-practice conditioning. A monthly calendar will outline required practice wear, and the dress code is strictly enforced. Extra practices may be scheduled at the coach’s discretion, especially before competitions, with at least two weeks’ notice.

7. INJURIES: Parents are responsible for seeking medical attention if an injury occurs. All athletes must carry personal medical insurance. Following evaluation, an official medical status report must be submitted to Fierce. In the case of a serious injury, a doctor’s release is required before the athlete may return to participation. If an injury prevents continued involvement, no refunds will be issued. Any remaining funds will be applied toward a replacement athlete as needed.

8. ATTITUDE & BEHAVIOR: Fierce is committed to fostering a positive, respectful environment for all athletes and families. Gossip, profanity, negativity, or inappropriate language or photos—whether in person or on social media—will not be tolerated. Publicly posting negative or misleading comments about Fierce or its competitors is grounds for immediate dismissal, without refund, and Buyout Contract terms will apply. Aggressive behavior, poor sportsmanship, or threats to quit may also result in removal from the program. Concerns should be addressed directly with management to prevent escalation. We expect all members to model respectful behavior and support a healthy, team-centered atmosphere.

9. NONPARTICIPANTS: Only athletes and authorized staff are permitted on the gym floor. Parents, siblings, and guests are not allowed in training areas unless specifically invited by staff. Yelling onto the floor or attempting to make direct contact with athletes during practice is strictly prohibited and may result in being asked to leave. For safety and minimal disruption, please do not open gym doors or interrupt classes. If you need to reach a student, contact a coach for assistance. These policies are in place to ensure a safe, focused training environment for all athletes.

10. FIERCE LOGO & MERCHANDISE: The Fierce name, logo, and team branding are trademarked and protected by copyright. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or sale of Fierce-branded clothing or items—including for spirit wear or competitions—is strictly prohibited. Families may not create or distribute their own Fierce merchandise under any circumstances. Official Fierce merchandise will be available for purchase through our website beginning in July.

12. BUYOUT CONTRACT:All payments are non-refundable and non-proratable, including practice wear and uniform costs. No refunds will be issued for illness, injury, late enrollment, early withdrawal, or absence. If a participant leaves or is dismissed before season completion, all payments are forfeited and a $500 buyout fee per team will apply. For double competitors, the buyout fee applies per team. The buyout contract takes effect from July 24, 2025, through the end of the season. Leaving or dismissal after this date incurs the fee and disqualifies the athlete from tryouts the following season.

15.Communication with Staff and Coaches:Please be respectful of our staff’s personal time. DO NOT call or text the staff on their personal phones unless it is an emergency! The staff need to have their personal time away from work. If you need to speak with them, please email them to setup a meeting time or give the front desk a message to give to them and they will respond in a timely manner. Thank you in advance for respecting this rule.

I understand that by trying out and paying $50 registration and full July Tuition that I am committing to being on a team. If I decide that me/my athlete will not be committing to the team after tryouts that I forfeit my $50 registration fee rest of July payment.
