Photographer Application Form

Scope of Work:

Contractor agrees to provide photography services for preschool and/or daycare photo sessions as scheduled by Kristen Rachel Photography. This includes photographing children using the Client’s established posing and workflow system, capturing high-quality images, and organizing and delivering RAW files through memoray cards. Contractor is not responsible for editing, culling, or communication with parents.

Typical Schedule:

Our largest assignments may take 2 mornings for a combined daycare/preschool session, running from approximately 8 AM to 1 PM each day.

No afternoon hours (beyond 1pm)—sessions are conducted during the morning to accommodate naptime for daycares.

Compensation:

Contractor will be paid per facility as follows:

Small (under 30 kids)	2.5–3 hours	$75
Medium (~ 30–60 kids)	4.5-6 hours (over 2 mornings)	$150
Large (60+ kids)	5–8 hours (over 2 mornings)	$250

Payment will be made via Zelle, PayPal Business, or check within 7 days of file delivery.

Equipment Expectations

Contractor is expected to use their own equipment, which must include:

DSLR or mirrorless camera
Appropriate portrait lens (e.g., 50mm and 24–70mm)
Flash or lighting system
Memory cards and backup batteries
If equipment is borrowed from Client, Contractor agrees to:

Sign a separate Equipment Loan Agreement
Return all items in original condition within 24 hours of completed assignment
Be responsible for loss, theft, or damage

Confidentiality
Contractor agrees to maintain confidentiality of:

Any proprietary processes, business information, or pricing
Client lists, children’s names, parent contact information
Any personal or sensitive information encountered during shoots

W-9 & Tax Reporting

Contractor must submit a W-9 before beginning work. If total compensation exceeds $600 in a calendar year, a 1099-NEC will be issued.

Image Rights

All images captured during sessions are the exclusive property of Kristen Rachel Photography. Contractor agrees not to use, publish, post, or sell any images taken during Client work without written permission.

Indemnification

Contractor agrees to hold harmless and indemnify Kristen Rachel Photography from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising out of their actions during sessions.

Legal Terms

Contractor is an independent contractor and not an employee. This agreement is governed by the laws of Pennsylvania.
