農曆七月,在佛門又稱為報恩月、孝道月、僧伽月、功德月、福田月。多倫多佛光山恪遵佛制,於殊勝的七月, 發起勸募道糧供僧，啟建孝親報恩梁皇法會；令信眾禮佛拜懺、精進修持,供養三寶。並藉由三寶的功德力，回向歷代宗親往生淨土，蓮品增上；眾善信徒福慧增長，平安吉祥。

佛光山寺自開山以來,由於護法檀那發心護持，本寺僧眾得以安心辦道，弘法利生；護持之德,誠乃功德無量！開山星雲大師開示「供僧不是供養熱鬧，而是供養辦道；不是供養個人，而是供養大眾；不是供養一餐，而是供養全年；不是供養一時，而是供養永生。」多倫多佛光山更定
於 9月7日舉行供僧道糧功德總回向，敬期十方善信參與，共霑法益。

Fo Guang Shan Monastery has been able to propagate the Dharma for the benefit of all sentient beings through the enthusiastic support of its devotees and benefactors since its establishment. The founder, Venerable Master Hsing Yun said, “The best way to make offerings to the Triple Gem and support the monastery is to make offerings to the monastic community rather than to just one person or a small number of people; to the entire year rather than for only one meal.” In this way, we are supporting the Sangha and helping them to practice and spread Buddhism.

In order to thank the devotees and benefactors for their support over the years, the Temple will conduct the Sangha Offering Merit Dedication Service on September 7th. All are welcome to participate in the service.
