  • We are excited to invite all artists to enter Tiny Art Expo 2024, the original tiny art exhibition, where we fill the gallery walls with beautiful one-of-a-kind pieces that measure no more than 12” x 12” (including frame size) with a sale value of $100 or less. We think art makes the greatest gift so we encourage all mediums, content, skill-levels and abilities to submit!

  • Exhibition Dates: 11/28/25 thru 12/28/25

    • Submissions Open: 7/7/25
    • Submissions Close:  10/25/25 @midnight
    • Artist Notifications Sent: 1-2 wks after submission or Close (whichever occurs first)
    • Drop Off:  Sunday, 11/16/25, 11am-4pm
    • Pick Up:  Saturday, 1/3/26, 10am-2pm or Sunday, 1/4/26, 10am-2pm

     By completing this form, you agree to comply with the above mentioned dates and times. The Argyle Zebra Gallery operates solely on volunteer labor. Please be mindful of the time ALL our volunteers are generous to provide. We have indicated the times for you so please add them to your calendars. 

    The gallery schedule is extremely tight and storage is not an option; no exceptions will be made. You are welcome to enlist the support of family or friends as needed.

  • Submission | Jurying Process 

    • Submissions will be juried based on a PORTFOLIO of work submitted; a curated collection of original artwork that clearly reflect the Artist(s) style/aesthetic.
    • Portfolio Images:  Artist(s) can submit up to 10 images that best represent & reflect their artistic style/aesthetic. 
    • If accepted, Artist(s) will curate & deliver a selection of up to *20 pieces that best represent their portfolio & artistic style/aesthetic.
    • Pieces presented in the portfolio submission are not required to be a part of your final curated offering; as long as final offering remains consistent with portfolio submitted & accepted.
    • Portfolio elements do not need to be from the same body of work, in the same medium, from any particular time period, or any other cohesive grouping.
       

    Terms & Conditions

    • *Number of Pieces: Depending on response to the call, we estimate each artist will have opportunity to have 10-20 pieces curated into the exhibit. Final # of pieces we can accommodate will be provided after the call closes. 
    • No Entrance Fee.
    • Sales and Operational Fee Policy:  Due to the extensive curatorial and logistical investment involved in producing this exhibition (last year we curated over 700 pieces), the Burl Gallery will retain 50% of the proceeds from any artwork sold as a combined hanging and operational fee. All sales shall be processed through the gallery, and payment to the artist will be remitted within 30 days after the end of the month in which the sale(s) occurred. 
    • 2-D Artwork ONLY (must hang on wall, no pedestal work accepted).
    • All artwork must be 12” x 12” or less (including frame)
    • All artwork must be for sale and must be $100 or less.  
    • 10% lead rate

    Exhibition Requirements

    • All artwork must be 12" x 12" or smaller - THIS INCLUDES FRAME SIZE.
    • All artwork must be 'ready to hang' meaning the art is required to be wired for hanging.  
    • Artwork is NOT required to be framed if on canvas or wood panels, but all edges must be cleanly finished.  
    • Other hanging devices are allowed but must be approved by the gallery.  Please send e-mail to info@burlartgallery in advance of submitting to discuss.
    • You, must review and submit ONLY, if you or someone you trust, are available to drop-off and pick-up your artwork at the scheduled times provided below. If you are not available, and you cannot find someone to assist you, do not submit to this exhibition. Due to our limited storage and limited hours of operation, we WILL NOT make exceptions. Any artwork not dropped off on time will not be accepted. 
      When you are finished with your submission form, please save a copy for your reference.

  • Originality: In consideration of the opportunity to display my work to the public, and other good and valuable consideration, the adequacy and sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, I, the undersigned artist, certify that the art that I am submitting is my original art and that I am the author and creator of such art. I acknowledge that Argyle Zebra Gallery reserves the right to accept or deny any submission with or without cause.

    Promotion and Publicity: I grant the Argyle Zebra Gallery permission to publish in all media my name, artwork, and location for use in promotion through print media, television, and the internet. I further allow the Argyle Zebra Gallery to release such information to other persons and entities. My name will be attributed to my pieces that are shown by the Argyle Zebra Gallery or other persons or entities.

    Responsibility: I understand that the Argyle Zebra Gallery does not assume responsibility for loss or damage to my artwork(s) or the loss or damage to frames or glass, no matter how sustained. Reasonable safety and security precautions are in place to ensure added protection of my work. I also understand that Argyle Zebra Gallery strongly recommends that I carry my own personal property insurance.

    Artwork remains in the gallery until the end of the exhibit: I understand that if my artwork is accepted for the show the work may not be removed from the exhibition until the pickup date described in the Call for Art. It is my responsibility to notify the Argyle Zebra Gallery by email of a third-party pick-up of artwork at the conclusion of the exhibition. 

    Sales of Artwork: the gallery is responsible for all sales transactions and the collection and filing of applicable sales tax.

    I acknowledge that I have read and understood all terms contained in the description for this Call for Art and the Artist Agreement, and agree to be bound by the terms and stated expectations.

    Waiver of Liability: Once I submit this form electronically, I (the artist), my heirs, successors, and assigns, shall indemnify and hold the Argyle Zebra Gallery and appointed officers, volunteers, and employees harmless from any and all claims, costs, and liabilities for any artwork damage, personal injury, death, or other property damage which is the result of handling and displaying the artwork at the Argyle Zebra Gallery. Our partners’ employees or contractors are likewise held harmless from any and all claims from the artist, heirs, successors, or assigns from any artwork damage, personal injury, death, or other property damage, and related costs and liabilities, which are the result of handling and displaying the artwork.

    We highly encourage you to file and/or print for your records.

    Our notifications of acceptance will not include artwork title, as we rely on the artists to track their submissions & inventory. Of course, we are happy to provide that info if you are unable to locate.
