Vachanabhishekam Retreat Terms and Conditions

Event Name: Vachanabhishekam

Organized By: St. Mary’s Syro Malabar Mission Wellington

Retreat Dates: 28-08-2025 to 31-08-2025

Location: 27 Trebann St, Paparangi.

By registering for and participating in this retreat, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Registration and Payment

Full payment is required to confirm your spot.

Fees are non-refundable unless the retreat is cancelled by the organizers.

QR Code will be issued for successful registration and will be scanned for entry.

Seat number will be issued at registration and attendees must sit on the allocated spot.

Payment for child under 3 - If you need to book a seat for an infant or a child under the age of 3, then payment fees will apply.

2. Code of Conduct

All attendees are expected to behave respectfully and in accordance with Christian values. You agree to:

Treat fellow attendees, retreat team and volunteers with kindness and respect.

Avoid disruptive, harmful, or inappropriate behavior.

Follow instructions from retreat leaders and volunteers.

Refrain from bringing or using alcohol and illegal substances.

The organizers reserve the right to remove any participant who violates this code of conduct without refund.

3. Health and Safety

You agree to inform the organizers of any relevant medical conditions, allergies, or special needs.

In case of a medical emergency, you authorize retreat leaders to seek medical treatment on your behalf if necessary.

Safety guidelines for all activities must be followed at all times.

4. Minors

Attendees under 18 must have parental or guardian consent to participate.

Parents/guardians are responsible for safeguarding their children and ensuring their child complies with retreat rules.

5. Transportation

The organizers are not liable for delays or incidents during travel that are outside of its control.

6. Media Consent

Photos and videos may be taken during the retreat and used in church-related materials (bulletins, websites, social media, etc.).

7. Cancellations and Changes

The organizer reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the retreat due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather, health concerns, venue issues, visa rejection).

In such cases, participants will be notified promptly and refund or rescheduling options will be provided.

8. Personal Belongings

You are responsible for your own personal belongings. The church is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged items during the retreat.

9. Parking

Parking is limited and you are not allowed to park illegally or obstructing the smooth flow of traffic.

10. Agreement

By registering for and attending the retreat, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these Terms and Conditions.

 

REGISTRATION FEES - $60 NZD per person

Payment for child under 3 - If you need to book a seat for an infant or a child under the age of 3, then payment fees will apply.
