On behalf of the Pierpont Community & Technical College, I would like to invite and welcome to the 8th Annual WV Interpreter Retreat, which will take part on August 30, 2025. It is our great pleasure to host this event.
In this digital era and where privacy has become an upmost concern, laws have been created by countries all over the world with the purpose to provide a set of standardized data protection in protecting citizens of its jurisdiction.
However, confusion arises in its applicability and this is where we come in.
The Pierpont Community & Technical College, ASL/Interpreter Education Program is looking forward to giving all participants a great time and a worthwhile experience in learning and sharing all knowledge with privacy laws.
