The Guidance and Testing Office (GTO) is committed to support you in your academic, career and personal development throughout your stay here at Saint Mary's University. As part of this mission, the Career Wellness and Inventory Test (CaWIT) was developed to assess your well-being as a SMU student particularly to higher year students (2ⁿᵈ year to 4th/5ᵗʰ year students. This is also to update the data you provided during the past academic year and will serve as our basis for implementing evidenced-based activities and programs for students.
Please be assured that all the information you provided will remain CONFIDENTIAL, except in cases where the Guidance Counselor in charge is legally obligated to report specific incidents which include possible risk of self-harming, suicide, incidents of abuse, ordered by the court, and for medical reasons. In the event that the information is utilized for research purposes, the anonymity of the students will be strictly safeguarded through the assignment of codes in place of identifying details. Please accomplish honestly all the information asked and expect a call from the GTO for a scheduled counseling session to verify or edit the information you provided. Thank you and God bless!
