We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Elizabeth Schumann, renowned pianist, pedagogue, and Billie Bennett Achilles Director of Keyboard Studies at Stanford University, as our featured conference artist. Dr. Schumann will present a session on her groundbreaking research on the intersection of AI and injury prevention, specifically focusing on piano performance and lead a masterclass with selected students.
Our Friday evening banquet will include a keynote address by MTNA President, Dr. Kevin Chance. Following the keynote at the evening banquet, enjoy a special concert performance by Dr. Schumann.
Each morning begins with engaging sessions and events continuing throughout the day. Saturday evening will feature a raffle and recognition of outstanding educators and contributors to our organization and field.
Parking details will be available by October 3rd. Ongoing campus contruction means parking spots closest to the Hayes School of Music will be limited. Attendees are advised to stay on campus for meals. Special hotel rates are available for NCMTA (be sure to book by the listed reservation deadlines).
