Houston Christian University is blessed to have a wonderful mascot program with not only a costumed mascot (Mingo) but also our very own live Husky, Wakiza III!

Our mascots make appearances on campus and around the city! If you are interested in an appearance by one of our HCU Mascots, please fill out the form below, and we will be sure to connect!

The Response Section is only checked on Fridays. All forms must be submitted at least 1 week prior to the event to be considered.

If, for any reason, that member feels the need to remove the mascot from the event, they will do so. Please adhere to the directions given by the Sled/Mingo Team member while interacting with the mascot. The Sled/Mingo Team members are trained to care for the well-being of our mascots.*

Disclaimer #3: If the event is outside, the costumed mascot, Mingo, has a limited amount of time they can be in the costume. The time is lessened when the temperature is higher. Mingo and their team will make the final decision to ensure Mingo's safety. Additionally, Kiza has a limited amount of time being in loud environments. The Sled Team will make the final decision to ensure Kiza's Safety.*
