Welcome to the Kumon Math and Reading Center of Katy - Morton Ranch. We are located on 2918 W. Grand Parkway N, Suite 180, in the Kroger shopping center near WingStops.

What is Kumon?

Kumon is a worksheet - based program delivered via a digital format through an Application called Kumon Connect.  The Kumon worksheets and instructions are the heart of the program.  Students study Kumon worksheets in math, reading or both math and reading daily via the Kumon Connect App. Students come to the center twice weekly on Monday and Thursday to complete their class work and check in with center staff to assess mastery of the material.

Price and Fees *

One Time Registration Fee = $80

One Time Materials Fee = $30

*Initial starting fee include registration fee, materials fee, first month tuition & last month tuition. (all fee & tuition are nonrefundable regardless of attendance)

Tuition is charged on a monthly basis on the first of each month for the entirety of each of the Kumon program. It is not charged per hour or number of class or days, etc.

About the Kumon Instructor Albert Chang

 

Introduction

As an extensively trained and certified professional instructor, I serve as a mentor who guides your children through their work while also providing direction, support and encouragement. I create an at-home study plan in addition to monitoring classroom assignments, and I emphasize the importance of accurately completing each assignment within a designated time frame. This has helped many of my students increase self-confidence, thus becoming more self-reliant. Like all Kumon Instructors, I have a true passion for education and an earnest desire to help children succeed. 

Biography and Background

Through many years of experience as a math and science coach for competition, I understand the importance for students to establish a strong educational foundation as early as possible.  As a parent of a child who completed both the Kumon Math and Reading Programs, I know the Kumon Method will nurture students, increase their confidence, and empower them to become independent as a self-learner.

By assessing the students' abilities, I will provide students with individualized instructions to help them attain their goals.  Starting at a level best suited for the students will allow steady learning of materials beyond their school grade level.  By motivating and encouraging students through the Kumon Program, I hope to inspire students to reach beyond their full potential.
