Eligibility Criteria: Applicant must be at least 18 years old. Must reside in Bay City OR reside in District 42 with a child registered in the league. Completed background check form must be submitted before approval of any volunteer position can be fulfilled.

How to Obtain a USA Softball Background Check

1. Visit RegisterUSASoftball.com: Go to the official USA Softball background check and registration site.

2. Navigate to the Background Check Section: Look for a section titled 'Background Check' or 'ACE Certification'.

3. Create an Account or Log In: You'll need to create an account or log in to proceed.

4. Purchase the Background Check: Follow the prompts to purchase. Cost typically ranges from $20-$22.

5. Submit Personal Information: Enter your Social Security Number and other requested details.

6. Consent to the Background Check: Check the authorization box to begin the background screening.

7. Check Your Status: Log in to monitor the progress of your background check.

8. Allow Time for Processing: It usually takes a few business days, but allow up to 10 business days.
