Whether you're a high school student, college leader, or young adult ready to make a difference, this is your chance to grow, serve, and lead.When you join Truu Kids, you become part of a high-energy, intergenerational, and multicultural community committed to building a brighter future for youth—and for yourself.
  • đź’ˇ What Is Truu Kids?
    Truu Kids is a mentorship and leadership development program that takes place during our Create Me After-School Program. We focus on creativity, confidence, and connection. As a mentor, you’ll support elementary and middle school students through:

    📚 Homework help and academic support
    🎨 Creative workshops and enrichment activities
    đź’¬ Group mentoring and personal development sessions
    đź’– Building self-esteem and emotional support
    🎉 Fun events, games, and community service projects

    đź§­ Who Can Be a Mentor?
    We welcome mentors who are:

    • âś… Ages 15 and up (high school sophomores, juniors, seniors, college students, and young adults)
    • âś… Passionate about youth, leadership, and community
    • âś… Open to learning, growing, and showing up with positive energy

    📝 If you are under 18 years old, a parent or guardian must complete and sign the application and approval form before you can participate.

    No experience is required—we’ll train and support you every step of the way!

    We know students are busy—so we’ve designed this program to be flexible and opportunity-based. You’ll receive a calendar of scheduled mentoring sessions, events, and activities. You can sign up for the ones that fit your schedule and interests.

    • Weekend service projects
    • Special community events (like our Back to School Bash!)
