  • GIMTA is really excited to host another AIM this year. AIM Festival will take place on Saturday, November 22,2025 on-campus at Butler University. 

    The Achievement in Music (AIM) Festival is an IMTA (Indiana Music Teachers Association) offering that is sponsored by local music teacher associations and/or IMTA members. AIM Festivals provide a musically well-rounded goal for each year’s study, as well as a written evaluation of a student’s performance skill and musical understanding.

    This registration form must be filled out by the teacher, and should include information for all of that teacher's students who are participating in the GIMTA AIM Festival. Scroll down to the bottom of this form to see more information on registration fees and deadline.

  • ** Regarding Medal Level: if a student is entering multiple levels, it is suggested that a medal representing the lowest level entered be requested.

  • Registration fee: 

    • Student Fee: $30 per student. 
    • Teacher Fee (only required if the teacher is NOT an IMTA member): $75 

    If you are not yet an IMTA member, we encourage you to join! If you are a college student, the MTNA National Collegiate membership costs only $19, and the Indiana state membership is only $5 on top of that. See the MTNA website for more information.

     

    Registration due date and payment method: 

    Registration form is due on Sunday, September 21, 2025.  Please upload all of your information by the end of the deadline date. Postmark deadline for the payment is Saturday, September 20. Collect fees from your students and send one check to the GIMTA AIM festival chair. If you are not IMTA member, please add $75 to participate GIMTA AIM festival in your payment. Please make your check payable to GIMTA (Greater Indianapolis Music Teachers Association).

    Confirmation: 

    Once you have submitted your entries online, and we have received your payment for the entry fees, then your student's registrations will be processed. You can expect an email by the end of October to proof-read all your registrations.
