  • Advanced Teen Track Application

    Cohort 2025-26 

     

    A two-year program, opening up for new applicants in Fall Term 2025, for talented teen artists to develop artistically and tap their full potential.

    Advanced Teen Track will help develop art-making skills, network with professional artists, materials to create work, receive critique discussions, artist studio and gallery visits, field trips, public presentations, and exhibition opportunities. Advanced Track artists also receive a stipend to support their full participation. 

  • Program Requirments

    1. Enroll in one additional elective teen programs course.

    2. Be self driven to commit to open Studio hours to work on projects.

    3. Must be able to attend all 5 bi-weekly meetings at Hyde Park Art Center.

    4. Use of Art supplies: the Art Center will provide each teen a budget for supplies. Supplies MUST be used for a project, and/or a piece that will be presented during Hyde Park Art Center's Summer Teen Programs Exhibition.

  • Eligibility

    • Applicants must have completed two years of any Teen Programs at Hyde Park Art Center. 

    • Have completed at least one art course at their school, homeschool or after school. 

    • Have a strong interest in art, design, social practice, research, and/or entrepreneurship as a career path.  

     

  • Application Process 

     

    • Fill out the application in full. Please be thoughtful with your responses. 

    • Teen candidates will be selected based off their applications. The ideal ATT candidate is driven, unique, curious, thoughtful, and creative. Your responses should be a strong reflection of you. 

    • Decisions will be made by September 5th, 2025.

    ATT ATTENDANCE POLICY:

    - Attendance is a crucial aspect of ATT, therefore, it is mandatory. 

    - ATT participants are allowed up to two excused absences, as long as they are communicated at least 24 hours before meetings. 

    - The first unexcused absence will be met with a warning. After the second unexcused absence, you will lose your spot in ATT and forfeit your stipend.

    -An excused absence is a communicated absence due to important school/work conflict, family emergency, sickness/health, or personal emergency.

    -An unexcused absence is an absence that is not communicated, or does not qualify for an excused absence (hanging out with friends, a party or event, homework, etc.)

    - You must communicate an absence at least 24 hours in advance, whether or not you believe it qualifies as an excused absence, we understand that every situation can be different.
