2026 Adalin Farnum ODP Scholarship Application
Adalin Farnum was a huge soccer fan with an amazing sense of fashion. She had a wonderful sense of humor, a huge heart, and an uncanny ability to bring out the best in people. Unfortunately, her life's journey was cut short. She was five when she was first diagnosed with cancer and nine when she succumbed to the disease. To those who knew her, she embodied everything that is good about the world. In honor of Adalin's life, this scholarship program was created to reward those ODP participants who make the world a better place through acts of kindness, much like Adalin Farnum.
Application Requirements:

The Adalin Farnum ODP Scholarship is due into the MSYSA State Office in its entirety no later than November 1, 2025. If you have any questions, please email stateoffice@michiganyouthsoccer.org
General Information to Applicants:
1. This program of college tuition awards is administered by the Michigan State Youth Soccer Association ODP Program.
2. Scholarships are in the form of tuition awards of $1,000 and are to be used toward expenses in an accredited college, university, or community college beginning with the Fall of 2026.
3. This program is open to Michigan residents who have participated in the MSYSA ODP Program for 3 years or more and are a graduating high school senior.
4. Applicants must have played in the ODP Program.
5. Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.00.
6. All applicants receive notice of their status as soon as practicable after the selection process is completed.
7. Awards are contingent upon proof of acceptance and enrollment in a full-time academic program at an accredited college, university, or community college in the Fall of 2026.
