IAEE DC Chapter Chair for 2026 will be Jenn Ellek - Vice President of Marketing - North American Trailer Dealers Association

Open Positions include:

Director of Program Content (2-year term): Responsible for developing the chapter’s annual education plan, curating relevant topics, and coordinating with speakers to ensure engaging, high-quality programming. This role requires strong organizational skills, regular participation in chapter activities, and collaboration with board members to align content with strategic goals.
Director of Program Logistics (2-year term): Responsible for identifying venues and negotiating contracts, managing F&B, and AV for educational events. Works hand-in-hand with the Director of Program Content.
Director of Special Events (2-year term): Provide strategy for building member loyalty and enthusiasm of the industry and chapter through special event activities annually. These special events provide additional networking opportunities for members. Past special events/networking events have included Night at Nats Park, Bowling, Karaoke and the Reception held at Expo Expo
Director of Marketing (2-year term): Oversees all email communication for the chapter, including the quarterly newsletter and event promotion. Writes content for the chapter website and press releases. Works closely with the Director of Communications/Outreach to engage our members all year round.
Director of Sponsorships (2-year term): In charge of achieving budgeted revenues through the promotion and solicitation of sponsorship and advertising opportunities for chapter events.
Director of Communications and Outreach (2-year Term): Communicate timely and accurate information to membership regarding programs, social events and overall member value through IAEE strategic initiatives
Director at Large (1-year term): Serves as a general representative on the board of directors. Assists with various projects and initiatives as needed. This role is essential for bringing diverse perspectives to the table.
