2025 DC Print Fair Application

Location: Eastern Market's North Hall | Capitol Hill | Washington, DC

We are looking for original fine art prints.

What qualifies as an original fine art print?
We accept prints made using traditional fine art printmaking techniques such as relief, intaglio, lithography, screenprinting, monotype, collagraph, and Risograph—as long as they are printed manually, in limited editions, and under the artist’s direct supervision.

What does not qualify?
We do not accept digital reproductions (giclée, inkjet, or laser prints), canvas transfers, or posters—even if they are labeled “limited edition”—unless combined with a hand-executed printmaking process.

Application Guidelines
To be considered for participation, please complete this application form

Important Details Before Applying:

Participation Fee: $155 (if accepted).
Table Assignment: Each accepted applicant will be assigned one (1) of 40 available tables.
Scope: Do not apply to vend jewelry, ceramics, paintings, soap, or other crafts. If unsure about your eligibility, email us at phil@eastcityart.com before applying.
Shipping: We cannot receive or store shipments for exhibitors.
Venue Rules: Nothing may be taped, hooked, or hung on walls.You may bring a hanging system no wider than 72 inches (6 feet).
Provided Items: One (1) six-foot table and two (2) folding chairs (no tablecloths or accessories included).
Joint Applications: Groups may apply together, but a single primary contact must be listed and will be responsible for payment and communication.
Variations or Exceptions: None granted
Vehicle Loading/Unloading: Strict 15-minute unloading windows will be assigned. Carting materials by foot is recommended.
Vacating the Venue: Tables must be cleared by 4:30 PM on Sunday, and all vendors must vacate by 4:50 PM.

Notification:
By September 24, you will be notified if your application is:

Accepted,
Waitlisted, or
Not accepted.

Key Dates
July 9, 2025: Application period opens.
September 22 at 11:59 PM EST: Application deadline.
September 24: Notification of application status.
September 26: Deadline to confirm participation and pay in full.
September 29: Waitlisted applicants contacted.
October 1: Deadline for waitlisted applicants to confirm and pay.
October 6: Public announcement of participants.
Sunday, November 2: Event date.

Critical Information
If accepted in the first round, failure to respond and pay in full by September 26 will result in forfeiture of your spot to someone on the waitlist.

Responsibility: It is your responsibility to check for the notification email by September 24 and to understand Key Dates and other instructions.
