- Have no active investigations or past substantiated cases involving animal welfare violations.
- Have no serious client complaints in the past 12 months involving animal care or safety.
- Demonstrate a commitment to acting within the scope of their role and referring to veterinarians when appropriate.
- Agree not to misrepresent their credentials or use this certification to perform services beyond their legal or professional qualifications.
- Acknowledge that inclusion in the Advanced Provider Directory is a privilege, not a right, and may be revoked if standards are not upheld.
- Commit to professional, kind, and humane treatment of animals at all times.
- Provide truthful and accurate information on the application.
Why This Matters
We only certify professionals we’d trust with our own pets. This section helps us ensure our providers meet the highest ethical and professional standards.
