    Sound Therapy Intake Form

  • Sound Therapy is a healing technique that uses soundwave frequencies to balance the subtle energies within our bodies to heal and support balanced physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual being. Sound Therapy is not a replacement for traditional medical treatment.

During a Sound Therapy session, your Sound Practitioner will select specific instruments—such as crystal singing bowls, tuning forks, gongs, chimes, or drums—and sound frequencies tailored to support your goals. These tools are chosen intentionally to guide your body and mind into a deeper state of healing and balance. Once the session begins, you’ll usually lie down or sit comfortably in a quiet, peaceful environment while the practitioner plays the selected instruments near or around your body. The sounds may be soft and rhythmic or more dynamic, depending on your needs.

You may experience a floating sensation, emotional release, deep relaxation, a heightened sense of balance, improved mental clarity, and relief from physical tension or pain. Many people also report enhanced sleep and vivid dreams in the days following a session. However, it's important to understand that sound therapy can occasionally bring up uncomfortable sensations or emotions as part of the healing process. Temporary reactions—such as fatigue, headaches, dizziness, nausea, or emotional sensitivity—may occur, particularly when energetic blockages are being released. These effects are usually short-lived and can be part of the body’s natural process of rebalancing.

Maintaining open communication with your practitioner throughout the experience helps ensure that you feel supported and safe. Overall, sound therapy is a non-invasive, restorative practice that many find to be a powerful complement to their wellness journey.
