Terms and Conditions of Enrolment
GENERAL
Please ensure your child arrives on time and waits in the Players’ Lounge for their personal trainer. This allows sessions to begin promptly and ensures maximum teaching time for all participants. Trainers are not responsible for locating students who are late or not in the designated area.
A completed Pre-Exercise Screening Questionnaire, signed by a parent or guardian, is required prior to participation.
Please inform the Health & Fitness Coordinator and/or the trainer of any medical conditions that may affect your child or others during sessions. We reserve the right to request a medical clearance from a doctor before participation if deemed necessary.
No sessions will be held on public holidays. Term fees will be adjusted accordingly.
The Centre accepts no responsibility for injuries sustained before the commencement of a session.
For safety and security, please notify the trainer if someone other than a parent/guardian will be collecting your child.
All participants must wear closed-in athletic shoes and use a towel when using gym equipment—this is a condition of entry.
FEES
Fees are non-transferable between families.
Fees may be transferred to a future term only upon presentation of a valid medical certificate.
Fees can be paid in person at reception or over phone with a credit card.
MISSED SESSIONS & CANCELLATIONS
Make-up sessions are not available for missed classes.
If your child is unable to attend a session, please contact the Centre to advise us.
Credits/refunds will not be issued for pre-paid missed sessions or cancellations.
DISCLAIMER
The Shire of Harvey will not be responsible for any injury suffered by either participant or non-participant members of the group while using facilities: whether the injury be self-inflicted, caused by another member of the group, or caused by another person not associated with the group.
The Shire of Harvey will not be liable in any way for any loss of, or damage to the property of members of the group, whether members or non-members of the group cause the loss or damage.
The above does not apply to the extent that any injury, loss or damage is caused or contributed to by the wilful negligent or other unlawful act of omission of the Shire of Harvey or any of its employees, officers, agents or contractors.
