Philadelphia's Magic Gardens Inspired Artworks by Philly Artists
We’re thrilled to invite Philadelphia-based artists to apply for this vibrant group exhibition celebrating the creativity, ingenuity, and diversity of our local art scene. "Under $100, Under $1000" showcases contemporary works by emerging, mid-career, and established artists. Each artwork will be priced under $100 or under $1000. This exhibition offers collectors and art lovers a unique opportunity to discover and purchase original artwork.

Inspired by the visionary mosaics of Isaiah Zagar and the immersive environment of Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens, this exhibition encourages artists to explore themes such as portraiture, unconventional materials, and bold, dynamic color. In the spirit of Zagar’s ever-evolving, community-rooted practice, we welcome a wide range of media and creative approaches that reflect the eclectic, experimental energy of the city itself. All 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional works will be considered, we are not reviewing video work. Artists may submit up to five artworks for consideration.

Artists located in the Greater Philadelphia Area are invited to apply.
Exhibition Timeline:

Application opens: Friday, August 1, 2025

Application closes: Wednesday, October 1, 2025

Artists notified: Friday, October 17, 2025

Artwork drop off: Monday, November 3, 2025 from 12:00 - 6:00 pm

Exhibition opening reception: Friday, November 14, 2025 from 6:00 -9:00 pm

Exhibition on view: November 14 - January 11, 2026

Artwork pick up: Monday, January 12, 2025 from 12:00 - 6:00 pm
