Glendale’s Grow Happiness Event is an opportunity to go out and prepare the Heart for City Community Garden for the fall planting season. The purpose of the garden is to provide information on gardening and nutrition to the community. Volunteer tasks include spreading woodchips around the fruit trees, planting seeds and transplanting, pulling grass from the garden areas, and other general garden tasks. This is an outdoor project, so please wear clothes that can get dirty and closed-toe shoes.
