Class Summary: For beginning students, discover the joy of working with hard and soft pastels. You'll learn about the different materials, a wide array of papers, underpainting techniques, safety tips, gridding methods, and framing your masterpieces. This is your chance to build a strong foundation in one of the most popular art mediums. More experienced students are invited to take their skills to the next level, planning the painting from start to finish and delving into key elements such as composition, values, and color theory.
