  • 2026 Oceanside Dia de los Muertos Festival Volunteer Registration

  • Thank you for your willingness to help at the 2026 Dia de los Muertos Festival. This event is the most sacred and cultural event around.

    The festival will be held on October 25, 2026.  Volunteers are needed for (See full list below):

    1) Poster dissemination throughout Oceanside starting September 15-October 10th, 2026

    2) Day before event, Saturday, October 25, 2026:  preparation and setup of signs and equipment.

    3) Day of event, Sunday, October 25, 2026:  over 100 volunteers needed that day.  See list below:  Street Marshal, Vendor Load In and Load Out, Flower Booth, Children's Activities, Car Show, Stage Announcements, Catrina Contest, Volunteer Booth, Setup and Breakdown of equipment, General Maintenance and Cleaning, Pick up of equipment, load up and packing of equipment.

    Please note, there is no smoking allowed in the event area. If you need to smoke, on a break, you’ll have to walk off the event area or go to a designated location.

    We will also have designated parking for you. You will receive an info packet 3 days before the event. If you have any questions, please call or text Marleen at 760-271-8969.
