    Understanding CCCAM Membership 

    CCCAM is the Competitive Cheer Coaches Association of Michigan. It is our purpose to provide education, leadership, and guidance to all girls competitive cheer coaches. Therefore, our focus is to enhance and promote the growth of girls competitive cheer as a sport in Michigan. The benefits of the CCCAM membership include:

    • MHSCA membership including $1,000,000 liability insurance policy
    • Scholarship opportunities for your athletes
    • Recognition for athletes & coaches, including programs like Academic All-State & Coach of the Year
    • Mentoring Program
    • Coach’s education opportunities
    • Web maintenance for CCCAM.org and MichiganCompetitiveCheer.com

    Membership is valid from September 1, 2025 to September 1, 2026

    Cost of Membership: $75.00

    Membership and Summit Early Bird (by 9/12/25) $225.00

    Membership and Summit (After 9/12/25): $250.00

    **Summit participants who register after 9/12/25 are not guaranteed a box lunch

    • The deadline for membership for the 2025-26 year is due no later than February 1st, 2026 for consideration for recognition awards for coaches and athletes.  
    • All memberships are non-transferable & non-refundable. 
    • Memberships are valid from the date of receipt of payment until September 1st of the next year.

  • NEW LOCATION: The Summit is moving to the Lansing Center to accommodate the need for a larger space!

    The Summit, September 27-28, is the perfect way to  prepare for the competitive season! There are two days of educational opportunities for head coaches and assistant coaches of all levels.

    Members requested an expanded Saturday schedule and a larger venue, which comes at a higher cost. The addition of lunch and increased insurance expenses have also impacted the budget.

    BENEFITS OF THE SUMMIT

    • Eric Thompson, known as @TumbleChef on Instagram, will be here to discuss all things tumbling with drills, tips, and caoching mental blocks
    • 15 Minute One-on-Ones with renowned coaches on Saturday.
    • In depth information session regarding the manual and scoresheets
    • Saturday and Sunday highlights a full day of sessions geared to all experience levels.
      • Sessions include stunting, tumbling, choreography, tips from top judges, how to improve your jumps, conditioning, cleaning rounds, and so many more that will make this your best competitive season. There will be sessions geared towards middle school.
    • New This Year: MIXER on Saturday night! Network with coaches from all over the state. A cash bar available and raffle items given away. District, Regional, and State Coaches of the Year will be recognized.

    Summit registration does not include hotel accommodations. To reserve a room, please use this Direct Link to Reserve a Room in our Room Block

    Rooms in the Lansing center are limited. However, there the Courtyard (Lansing Location) is within walking distance. The last day to make a reservation in the CCCAM room block is 8/29/2025. 

    We will not be offering CPR or CAP trainings at this year’s Summit. Please visit the MHSAA website for available CAP training opportunities.

    You may choose to pay online through PayPal using your PayPal account or a credit or debit card; or you may print your invoice and mail in with payment to our treasurer. PayPal does charge a processing fee which will be added to your total cost if you choose to pay online. There are no refunds. All CCCAM memberships and Summit Registrations are non transferrable.
