  • General Information

    The Kid S.M.[A.R.T.] Gala is an event designed for kids and college students to showcase their art and give back to kids in the community. Kids and college students alike are eligible to enter their artwork to be displayed at the gala on November 16, 2025 from 4–7pm at Wilburn Street Studio (307 B Wilburn St, Nashville, TN 37207).
  • Art Contest Rules

    Entries must be artists' original creation and may be inspired by but not copied from other artists' works. Any size, style, or format of artwork may be submitted. This event is for people of all ages, so any art that includes nudity or profanity will not be considered. NOTE: The Kid S.M.[A.R.T.] Gala event is designed to raise money for children's mental health. Your art will be displayed with the intent to be sold via silent or live auction at the event to raise funds for the nonprofit organization. Any artwork not sold must be claimed after the event.
  • Entry Guidelines

    The deadline for submission has been extended to 11:59 PM CST on November 2, 2025. There is an entry fee of $5 for each piece. Please use our donation page to submit your payment. In this form, you will be asked to submit an image of your artwork. The first 50 submissions are guaranteed display at the Kid S.M.[A.R.T.] Gala on November 16, although all artwork images will be reviewed by artists in the community. Multiple entries are allowed, although we may only display one artwork from each artist at the event. Winners and additional selected submissions will also be displayed at the event. If your (or your child's) artwork is selected for display, additional information will be emailed to you by November 9.
  • Recognition

    All entries will receive virtual certificates of participation, and top winners from each category (< 8 years, 9–13 years, 14–18 years, college) will receive $100 in addition to free admission, 2 guest tickets, and recognition at the event on November 16. Awarded artists will be notified by November 9.
  • Collection/Return of Entries

    Entries can be dropped off in person to 2200 21st Ave S, Suite 200, Nashville, TN 37212 or 4122 Moss Rose Drive, Nashville, TN 37216 from the time of your submission to November 14 at 2pm CST. If this is not feasible for you, please email info@kidsmarttn.org. All entries that have not been sold or claimed on the day of the event will be retained for 30 days. If the work has not been claimed by then, you are agreeing to relinquish the rights to your work to Kid S.M.A.R.T.

    Submit this form with an image of your artwork by 11:59 PM CST on October 26, 2025. There is an entry fee of $5 for each piece. Please use https://form-renderer-app.donorperfect.io/give/kid-smart/art-gala-submission to submit your payment. For multiple entries, please include the time in your screenshot (e.g., the time the email confirmation was sent). If you are a sponsor for the event, or your art submission fee has been covered in some other way, please include confirmation of your art submission fee coverage. If you do not attach a donation receipt or evidence that your fee has been covered, your entry will not be considered for an award or displayed at the event. Additionally, the signature boxes in this section are not required items to promote accessibility. If you choose to not sign the form, then your typed name will serve as your signature and evidence of your agreement to the document's terms.
