  • Mental Health Awarness Program

    Northern NSW Football invites Member Zones and affiliated Member Clubs to express their interest to engage in a Mental Health Awareness Program in 2025.

    Northern NSW Football is delighted to announce it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Talk2MeBro delivering mental health awareness programs for Northern NSW clubs.

    Talk2MeBro's early intenvention programs aim to reduce the incidence of suicide and are delivered to male & female participants 13 years and up.

  • Kick-On for Women is an introductory football program, designed specifically for women to fit into their busy lives while juggling their commitments of family, work and friends. Kick-On for Women runs for 8 weeks, and consists of 1 x 45 minute session per week, focusing on fun, inclusion and friendship. The program is run by accredited facilitators and provides participants the opportunity to spend time focusing on their own wellbeing in a judgement-free environment. 

  • Walking Football is a small-sided, low-impact, modified version of the game, suitable for all levels of ability and fitness, from people who are returning to the sport after a break or those who’ve never played before. Walking Football aims to provide participants physical and mental health benefits, social connectedness and promotes the benefits of ongoing physical activity.

     

  • MiniRoos Kick-Off is a fun, safe introductory program designed for new players aged between 4 to 11 years old. The weekly 45 minute sessions aim to build skills through games and simple practices delivered in an engaging and inclusive environment. Every player gets plenty of time on the ball and the prime aim of each session is for children to build their fundamental motor skills.
