Get ready for an exciting rugby adventure!
Our Under 10 & 11 Development Program is all about giving young players an unforgettable experience — filled with fun, teamwork, and skill-building — no matter their club, division, or experience level.

At its heart, this program is designed to help kids fall in love with the game, build confidence, make new friends, and create lasting memories in a safe and supportive environment.

Launched in 2023, the program prepares U10 & U11 players for the next step in their rugby journey by introducing new skills and giving them the chance to play as part of regional teams — competing with and against other kids from across the greater Brisbane area.

After a fantastic launch 2 years ago, we’re thrilled to bring it back for 2025 as we gear up for an even bigger and better 2026 season!

To ensure all players, families, staff and volunteers have a safe and enjoyable experience, we ask that everyone involved in the BJRU Development Program follows these simple standards:

    💬 Respect & Positive Behaviour
Treat everyone with kindness, fairness, and respect — on and off the field.
Speak politely and supportively. No yelling, swearing, or abusive language.
Accept decisions from referees, coaches, and officials — even if you don’t agree.

    🛡 Safe & Supportive Environment
Help create a fun, welcoming space for all players, regardless of their background or ability.
Keep physical contact appropriate and only when needed for the game or coaching.
Avoid any form of bullying, harassment, discrimination, or intimidation — in person or online.

    🧠 Responsibility & Integrity
Be a good sport. Show honesty, play fair, and be a role model.
Look after your own safety and others'. No dangerous behaviour or actions that could cause harm.
Follow instructions from officials and event staff — they’re here to help keep things running smoothly.

    🚫 Zero Tolerance for Misconduct
No violence, aggressive behaviour, or being under the influence of alcohol or drugs at any rugby activity.
Do not damage property, use offensive language, or engage in behaviour that could harm the reputation of the game.
