Thank you for your interest in applying to the 2026 Mentorship Program. The Mentorship Program is designed to create connections between Local 600 members to foster career development, enhance union knowledge, support professional and holistic development, and strengthen the bridge between members and their union. We build a stronger Local by building stronger members.
Dates & Time Commitment:
- The Mentorship program runs from February - June 2026.
- Our goal is for participants to connect with their mentor/mentee for approximately 10 hours over the course of the program. We recommend you meet for 1 hour, twice a month, but it is up to the mentor/mentee to determine the schedule that works best for you.
Eligibility:
- The Mentorship Program is open to Local 600 members in good standing nationwide.
Reminders:
- Your responses will be used to guide matching you with a Mentor or Mentee, so please be as detailed and specific as possible.
- Mentees and Mentors are paired based on:
- Classification
- Location preferences
- Career goals
- Personality/interests
- Applicants’ preferences will be accommodated as best as possible, but are not guaranteed.
- Submission of an application is not a guarantee that a Mentor or Mentee will be matched.
- Mentors serve as volunteers, not as employees or agents of Local 600.
- Your application responses will only be used for the purposes of this program. We will not share your application outside of this process.
