    We’re now recruiting North and South representatives to support the exciting growth of UGCUP. If you’re passionate about gymnastics and want to help shape the student gymnastics experience, this is your chance to get involved and build your portfolio with real-world experience.

  • Here are the committee roles we have available:

  • 🤸 UGC Chairman [NEW FOR 2026/2027]

    Organises committee meetings with the committe for the upcoming season.

    Co-ordinates with IGA with updates for the UGC Seasons to ensure all is running efficently.

    Able to take on feedback and implement the UGC handbook into all events.

    📸 Media Reps (North & South)

    We’re looking for creative and enthusiastic individuals to help capture the spirit of UGCUP!

    Attend competitions to film and photograph content for our social media platforms.

    Build your media portfolio by also having the opportunity to attend IGA competitions.

    Work closely with the IGA Creative Director to promote university gymnastics across the UK and Ireland.

    🤸 Head of WAG & MAG / WAG & MAG Judging Reps (North & South)
    We're looking for experienced judges to support judging development and competition delivery:

    Help run seminars and online judging courses throughout the season.

    Assist on competition days to support the safe and smooth running of the judging panels.

    📋 Competition Secretary (North & South)
    This role is key in ensuring competitions run smoothly from start to finish.

    Act as the link between IGA National Competition Organiser and UGCUP events to deliver planned competitions.

    Lead on competition day operations including ensuring competitions run to schedule, organising volunteers, liaising with host venues, ensuring registration is complete, and all event documents are prepared.

    Help create a well-organised and professional experience for all clubs attending.



    🩺 Medical & Welfare Leads (North & South)
    A crucial role in ensuring participant safety and wellbeing at every event.

    Be on-site at competitions to respond to any medical emergencies.

    Work closely with IGA’s Safeguarding Lead to ensure the physical and emotional wellbeing of gymnasts.

    Support clubs and participants in accessing medical or welfare support where needed.

    Gain access to online safeguarding courses to support safeguarding welfare across universities.

    We are also offering other roles this year that are new for 2026/2027 such as:

    - North & South Scorers [Ability to run efficient scoring for every UGC competition].
