Not every community, church, school, or organization has a Scouting group nearby. Sometimes, starting a new group is the best way to bring Scouting to your community. With a willing group of volunteers and interested youth, it's easy to get a Scouting group started near you. Packs serve youth K-5th grade, Troops serve youth 6th-12th grade, Crews serve youth from age 13 - 20, and Ships serve youth from ages 14 - 20, and Exploring posts serve youth ages 14 - 20.
