Professional In Custody Virtual Visitation Request
  • This form is for Attorneys/Professional Virtual visitation only
For personal visitation information, Click HERE

Virtual Visitation will only be granted to attorneys and non-attorney professionals representing individuals in custody currently residing in the Van Buren County Department of Corrections. Virtual Visitation has been created as a courtesy to provide attorneys/professionals and their clients alternative means to communicate.

Attorneys/Professionals may visit their clients in person at the Van Buren County Department of Corrections. A licensed attorney may visit in person without scheduling. Other professionals, such as an expert, must contact CorrectionsSergeants@vanburencountymi.gov to set up in-person professional visits.

If you elect to conduct a video virtual visit, it can be connected through Zoom. Communications through this system—either audio or video—are not monitored or recorded. However, please note that the Van Buren County Corrections cannot guarantee total privacy during these calls, as they are occurring in a correctional setting.

All requests must be submitted at least 24 hours in advance for attorney/professional video conferences, same day requests cannot be guaranteed. Requests from attorneys and non-attorney professionals will only be granted if the individual(s) in custody they represent currently resides in the Van Buren County Department of Corrections.

For questions about scheduling, please contact vcorrections@vanburencountymi.gov
