  • Dear Conservation Leaders:

    Carter County Conservation District is hosting the MACD Area 2 meeting on September 23, 2025.

    The meeting location is the Carter County Events Center located at 209 W Speelmon Street in Ekalaka (immediately west of the school). Registration will begin at 9:00 a.m. with the meeting to begin at 9:30 a.m.

    Districts are asked to prepare a written report, and are also strongly encouraged to give a brief in-person at the area meeting to share accomplishments from the past year! Partners will also have an opportunity to present in person and/or share a written report (if you plan to give a partner report, please contact the district office at cccd42ek@gmail.com to be added to the agenda). All written district and partner reports must be submitted to the Carter County Conservation District by September 5, 2025, so that they may be copied prior to the meeting. Please bring copies of any materials prepared after this date, as we will not have access to a copy machine.

    Pre-registration forms are due September 9, 2025. Registration cost is $30 per person. When submitting your registration, please plan on paying by check or with cash. We do not accept credit or debit cards.
