Educafe GCSE English Prep Course – Terms & Conditions
Course Overview
The GCSE English Literature & Language Prep Course is a 6-week programme for Year 10 & 11 students.
Classes will be held in small groups at Newbury Library, starting in September (exact day/time TBC).
Registration & Payment
Registration is completed via an online JotForm, including consent and emergency contact details.
The full course fee of £198 per learner must be paid in advance via Stripe to secure a place.
Spaces are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellations made at least 7 days before the course start date are eligible for a full refund.
Cancellations made less than 7 days before the start are non-refundable unless a replacement student is found.
If Educafe needs to cancel a session (e.g., due to illness or venue issues), a make-up session will be offered or an appropriate refund provided.
Attendance & Conduct
Students are expected to attend all sessions and arrive on time.
Repeated non-attendance without communication may result in removal from the course without refund.
Learners must behave respectfully towards staff, other students, and the venue space.
Mobile phones must be switched off or silenced during lessons unless used for learning purposes.
Safeguarding & Welfare
All Educafe staff involved in delivery are DBS-checked and experienced in working with young people.
A designated Safeguarding Lead will be available for the duration of the course.
Parents/guardians must provide up-to-date emergency contact details and relevant medical/allergy info at registration.
Learning Support
If your child has additional learning needs, please let us know during registration so we can make appropriate arrangements.
Educafe aims to be inclusive, but reserves the right to assess suitability based on the level of support required.
Course Materials
All required learning resources will be provided.
Students are expected to bring a notebook, pen, and any assigned homework.
Marketing & Consent
With parental consent, Educafe may take photographs during sessions for use in future marketing.
Consent can be given or withheld at the point of registration.
Waiting List & Future Terms
If the course is full, your child can be added to a waiting list for the next available term.
It is hoped that students from the first 6-week term will continue into a second term for continuity and deeper learning.
