  • Beds for Kids – Membership Program Overview

    • Why a Membership Program?
      • Every child deserves a safe place to sleep, but the need in our community far outpaces available resources. To sustain and grow this work, we are launching a Basic Partner Membership Program. This ensures that larger agencies sharing inthe program’s benefits contribute to its long-term sustainability, while smaller grassroots organizations remain fully supported and exempt from fees.

     

    • Membership helps us:
      • Plan Ahead with Confidence: With predictable funding, we can ensure beds are always available when your clients need them.
      • Grow Responsibly: Membership contributions allow us to expand capacity and serve more children each year.
      • Share Responsibility Fairly: Larger agencies with greater resources contribute proportionally, while smaller grassroots partners remain fully supported without added costs.
      • Strengthen Partnerships: A membership approach fosters deeper collaboration, ensuring we build sustainable solutions to end child bedlessness together.

     

    • Who Needs a Membership?
      • Membership is required for organizations with annual budgets of $750,000 or more.
      • Each agency's membership fee will be determined based on the number of beds the agency estimates to request in 2026.
        • Up to 10 beds $150 membership fee.
        • 11 – 25 beds $300 membership fee.
        • 26 – 50 beds $600 membership fee.
      • Exempt: Agencies with budgets under $750,000 may continue referring children without a fee.
