Job Description:

CRM is a faith-based, non-profit organization, serving the homeless in our community. The security position is primarily responsible for the safety and security of the campus, responding to emergencies, and maintaining a safe environment for the residents we serve. Ensures all facilities are appropriately secure and residents maintain curfews, as well as keep all residents on task as they perform their own responsibilities.

Provides assistance to emergency check-ins and completes daily reports.

Experience:
- Minimum of 1-3 years working with vulnerable and marginalized populations
- MUST be able to work nights and weekend
- Ability to be firm while maintaining empathy and care
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving history
Job Type: Part-time

Must be able to pass a Criminal Background Check and Drug Screen
- Responsible for watching over individuals that have been checked into the shelter, overseereing clients and monitoring for any emergencies or problems that may arise
- Responsible for watching over the property, handling any visitors, donations, and calls, and reporting any emergencies with the property (electricity goes out, air conditioning goes out, etc.)
- Responsible for property being secured, gates locked and shut.
- Responsible for managing meal times and activities
- Responsible for ensuring all clients are in by curfew.
- Responsible for to ensure that clients are following the rules of the mission that are given to each person
- Responsible for ensuring that the property is clear of loitering
- Responsible for contacting the police when necessary.
- Other duties as assigned.
  
  Pay: $13.50 per hour
  Expected hours: 20-30 hours per week
  Schedule: Shift will be primarily 3:00pm-8:30pm, Monday-Thursday, with occasional Saturday and/or Sunday from 10:00am-8:30pm as needed.
