M-DCPS Foundation Scholarship Application 2026
What is the M-DCPS Scholarship?
The Miami-Dade County Public Schools Foundation will award four (4) $12,000 scholarships to graduating seniors from traditional, non-charter high schools in Miami-Dade County Public Schools (M-DCPS).

Scholarships will be awarded based on strong academic performance, demonstrated leadership, and potential to achieve career goals.
Qualifications:
M-DCPS High School Senior with an unweighted GPA of 3.5+ on a 4.0 Scale
- Attended an M-DCPS school during all four years of high school.
- Plan to attend a college or university and pursue a degree at an accredited post-secondary institution.
Application Requirements
- Fully completed application with up-to-date and accurate information.
- A copy of your most current transcript
- A copy of your most current GradeTracker report
- Two (2) letters of recommendation from a High School Counselor, Educational or Community Organization Leader
- A typed essay answering the prompt provided (No more than 750 words).
Awarded M-DCPS Foundation Scholars will receive:
A scholarship for $12,000, payable in eight (8) installments of $1,500 per semester*, provided the student submits proof of enrollment.

*To continue receiving payment, the student must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
