Important Information for Athletes!

If you are wanting to qualify to represent Team Canada at an upcoming IKMF World Event, please read the following carefully:
Qualification Fee

In-Person & Video Submission Qualifications
- $50 per event
All fees payable directly to IKMF Canada. These fees help support the administrative and logistical work of growing and managing IKMF Team Canada and to one day hosting our own world event. The Fee includes:

✅ Your official IKMF Canada Lifter T-shirt if your lift is successful.
✅ Validation to IKMF Team Canada for 1 fiscal year for that one qualifying lift. (please note fee must be paid again if you attempt to qualify for a different lift)
✅ Review and validation of your lift by the IKMF Team Rep and/or certified judge)
✅ The opportunity to be considered for Team Canada selection.

Please Note: You DO NOT have to be a member of the CKA to qualify for IKMF events. Individual athletes and clubs welcome!

To be eligible for qualification:
- This Application is to be filled out completely & submitted before your lift.
- All IKMF Team Canada Fees to be pre-paid through e-transfer or Paypal to ikmfcan@gmail.com

Section 4: Qualification Fee Acknowledgement
I acknowledge that the qualification fees posted above.
I understand that these fees are payable directly to IKMF Canada, and is separate from any (in-person) event registration fees. Payment information will be provided to me.
I acknowledge that if I successfully qualify, this fee includes the cost of my official IKMF Canada Lifter T-shirt and validation for one year, to the date of my qualifying lift.
I agree that the qualification fee is non-refundable, regardless of the outcome of my lift.
Section 5: Declarations

Please confirm the following.
I will follow all IKMF Canada and IKMF international competition rules and code of conduct, including Video Submission Rules.
I understand that if the IKMF Canada Representative is not present at the event, I am responsible for ensuring a video of my lift is submitted to IKMF Canada within 14 days for review.
I understand and agree to all requirements of qualifying in-person and I have downloaded and read the Video Qualification Requirements if needed for my attempt.

This allows our Team Rep to:
- Confirm judge availability
- Confirm the event is sanctioned.
- Ensure smooth communication with event organizers (if needed)
- Prepare your lifter t-shirt in a timely manner, if you qualify.

Payment and Application should be submitted on the same day. Any application with out payment or payment without application will not be recognized until both have been received.

If your event includes IKMF qualification, a certified IKMF Judge must be present for your attempt. All video submissions will be judged by a certified IKMF Judge.
