LBN Executive Coordinator Registration Form
Please note: You may only apply to be an Executive Coordinator if you have experience volunteering as a FULL-TIME Program Coordinator at Learning Buddies Network, as this is a leadership role. You must also be at least 15 years old or in Grade 10 to apply. If you do not meet either of these requirements, you must have one of your teachers fill out a Volunteer Referral Form.

Executive Coordinator Responsibilities and Requirements
Executive Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Complete the Executive Coordinator training
- Attend the coordinator meeting
- Check the LBN training portal for mentors’ training certificates
- Participate in the orientation during the first week of the programs
- Record mentor attendance
- Attend at least 90% of program sessions & lead mentor meetings
- Debrief after each session
- Track Program Coordinator reports
- Complete Executive Coordinator reports
- Guide and provide feedback to Mentors & Program Coordinators
- Oversee and check in on Mentors during sessions
- Provide references for Mentors & Program Coordinators
- Act as a liaison between Learning Buddies Network and the buddies’ families
- Assist in volunteer recruitment
- Respond to emails and Slack messages
Requirements:
- Applicants must be either enrolled in school or planning to attend
- You must be at least 15 years old or in Grade 10 to apply. If you do not meet either of these requirements, you must have one of your teachers fill out a Volunteer Referral Form
- The mandatory training must be completed
- Volunteers must have a criminal record check done before volunteering with children
- Must be located in Canada or the Continental United States
- Executive Coordinators must have previous experience as a Mentor and Program Coordinator as this is a leadership role
Time Commitment
- Around 5-6 hrs/week throughout the program term
- 2-3 hrs total to complete asynchronous training modules
