Poetry After Dark is now a poetic concert and open mic experience for adults 21 and older.

Each event is a paid opportunity for experienced performers:

1 Poet
1 Musician/Songwriter

Event Dates:
- April 26th
- June 28th
- August 30th
- October 25th
- December 20th
PAD sets are 10-15 minutes long. Each session runs from 7–11 PM and will take place in Tacoma, WA (exact location to be announced).

We are a non profit by nature curated event, we recieve stipends from the city for performance artists and workshop facilitators. This may not be the fee / rate you listed above. We will notify you with more information after reading your submisson and work with you from there.

We promote each performer before each event, it is required that performers agree to promote their performance during the event at least 3 times before the event.

This includes the following, if paid artists must agree to
- Sharing and accepting one collaborator post via Instagram & Facebook
- Resharing the flyers / artist promo posts via their stories on Instagram & Facebook
- Tagging us and including us in the post, so we can reshare your posts please tag us @blacknightmarket
If you are selected to perform during our events, we will reach out to you and send over a contract. This contract will state agreed payment out and expectations for the artists etc.
