  • Group/Trio Fees
    1 Dance - $200
    2 Dances - $190 each
    3+ Dances - $180 each

    Solo/Duet Fees
    Solo - $175
    Duet - $175 per dancer


    Note that all the above prices do not include fees such as costumes, makeup, tights, and expenses related to competitions such as entry fees, travel, accommodations, etc.

  • Group Classes

    Ballet is the fundamental "backbone" of all dance training; it is strongly encouraged for all dancers to include it in their class choices.

    Group classes will be on Tuesday & Wednesday. Placement in all classes will be finalized at the discretion of the Instructor and Board of Watson Dance Club. 

    Classes will only be offered if there is an adequate number of registrations.

    (Age as of December 31, 2025)

    Dancer must have at least 2 years of Tiny Tot experience or be in Grade 1 before registering for competitive classes. All routines are entered into Competitions, with the exception of the Tiny Tot group.

  • Solo/Duet/Trio Classes

    Depending on enrollment, solo/duet/trio classes may be on scheduled weekends throughout the season.

    To register for a solo/duet/trio, the dancer should be enrolled in a group class of the same discipline or have background knowledge of the dance style. Exceptions may apply in the case that no group class is offered in that style for the dancer's age.

    *All routines are entered into Competitions.

  • Policies & Waivers

    All participants must review and accept these terms as part of the registration process.

  • Parent/Guardian Declaration

    I acknowledge that the Watson Dance Club, the Watson Civic Centre, and our instructor, Carissa Pfneisl, are not liable for any injuries or accidents that may occur while my child is dancing or participating in any club activities. In the event of an emergency, I authorize the instructor or club executive to seek medical attention for my child on my behalf.

    I also understand that if my child’s behaviour is deemed unacceptable, they will be required to leave class immediately and will not be permitted to return until the matter has been resolved to the satisfaction of the instructor and club executive.

  • Payment Policy

    No Cash - No Exceptions.

    Fees may either be paid in full (cheque or e-transfer) or 3 equal payments (cheque only). If you wish to do so, please provide 3 equal post-dated cheques dated October 1st, November 1st and December 1st, 2025 on or before the first day of class. Registration Fees outstanding past December 31, may result in held costumes, missed competitions, etc. until fees have been settled.

  • Class Placement & Competition Attendance

    Dancer placement is determined by an assessment of each individual’s abilities, age, experience, and the overall goal of creating a balanced and strong team. Final placement decisions are made solely at the instructor and boards discretion and are not subject to parental input.

    All dancers are expected to practice their routines at home, particularly if they have missed a class. If the instructor determines that a dancer is not adequately prepared for competition, the dancer may be asked not to participate in a competition or festival. In such cases, no refunds or credits will be provided.

  • Photo Release

    I consent that my dancer's name and any photographs and/or motion picture/video for which they posed in or were a part of may be used by the Watson Dance Club in their Facebook Group, or any other form of publicized media.
