We’re looking for passionate, committed individuals who believe in the power of community and want to make a lasting impact in the South Bay. For nearly 50 years, Harbor Interfaith has provided housing, food, childcare, job placement, and compassionate care to individuals and families experiencing homelessness and poverty.

    By joining our volunteer team, you become a vital part of helping us heal, support, and transform lives. Whether it’s through offering food, organizing for an event, facilitating a wokrshop or simply showing up with kindness, your time and energy help create a stronger, more hopeful future for those we serve.

    At Harbor Interfaith, volunteers are welcome to serve anytime between 9 AM and 4 PM, whether for a full day, a half day, or as little as one hour.

  • Volunteer Orientation

    Orientation is offered in person on the first Wednesday of each month at 10 AM or virtually on the fourth Wednesday of the month at 3 PM.

Please exclude convictions that have been sealed, expunged, or legally eradicated and misdemeanor convictions for which probation was successfully completed or otherwise discharged, and the case was judicially dismissed. A conviction is not an automatic bar to volunteer service. Each case will be considered on its own merits.*
