Earth USA 2026 Abstract Submission Form

Earth USA is now accepting abstracts for presentations at the 2026 conference (taking place in Santa Fe, NM from Friday, September 18 to Sunday, September 20, 2026). All abstracts should be submitted using the online abstract submission form below. We cannot accept abstract submissions sent to us via normal e-mail or as an e-mail attachment.

Abstracts will be accepted from Monday, September 8, 2025 until Sunday, February 8, 2026. All accepted presenters will be notified by Friday, April 10, 2026. Full papers are due by Sunday, June 7, 2026.

Please note: In 2024 we had approximately 35% international participation in the conference. We want to continue to grow as an international platform for the worldwide earthbuilding community. We have therefore decided to add an online component to the 2026 conference which will be taking place around the time of the in-person event in Santa Fe. We encourage and welcome authors from all corners of the world to submit an abstract regardless of your ability to travel to New Mexico. More info about the online component will be shared soon.

Publishing Policy: If your abstract is selected for presentation, you agree to having your abstract and full paper published in the Earth USA 2026 Conference Proceedings. Participation Policy: Submitting a full paper for publication also confirms to us that you will be attending Earth USA 2026 in person or online as a registered conference presenter. Presenter Registration Policy: Earth USA 2026 is organized by a small non-profit organization (Adobe in Action). Funds for organizing and carrying out the conference are mainly generated through registration fees. We rely on the registration fees of all participants (including presenters) to provide the funds needed to hold the event and to publish the Conference Proceedings. All presenters are therefore required to pay a registration fee for participating in the conference. Travel & Lodging Stipend Policy: Earth USA 2026 is not able to provide travel, lodging or other stipends for presenters. Audio/Video Recording Policy: Registering and attending the conference as a presenter indicates to us that you agree to having your presentation recorded via audio and/or video and that you also give Earth USA permission to use this recording to promote this and/or future conferences.

Fred Webster Prize

The target group for the prize is engineering and architecture students worldwide who are working on innovative design and engineering solutions for new construction as well as preservation projects in the earthbuilding field.
