VCOE Welding & Testing Terms and Conditions

Please click follow each link to read and review all required gear, policies, terms, and conditions.
READ THIS. You just agreed that you will bring ALL of the following PPE and Tools:
- Welding Helmet
- Safety Toe Work Boots
- Welding Gloves: Process-specific (additional work gloves optional).
- FR Cotton or Denim Pants
- FR Cotton Welding Shirt and/or Jacket
- Cotton Welding Cap
- Safety Glasses
- Earplugs
- Grinding Face Shield
- Chipping Hammer
- Wire Brush
- Pliers, Channel Locks, and Vise Grips: Vise grips for material fit-up. MIG pliers, if applicable.
- Inspection and/or Fit-Up Tools: Mirror, light, weld gauges, hi-lo gauges, and fit-up shims/spacers.
- 4-1/2” Angle Grinder WITH GUARDS: For use on base metal prep and where permitted by code/testing facility.
- 4-1/2” Grinding and Wire Wheels
- For GTAW: Pack of sharpened tungsten and TIG consumables for size 17/18/26 torch (collet/body, gas lenses, preferred sizes of cups).
- Cleaning Supplies (for GTAW): Acetone in a original metal container and lint-free tack cloth.
