YOUTH PROGRAM WAIVER: INFORMED CONSENT, RELEASE OF LIABILITY & MEDIA AGREEMENT
I, the undersigned parent or legal guardian of the minor participant, hereby give my consent for my child to participate in soccer programs, training sessions, and related activities organized by Vancouver Rangers Football Club (VRFC).
I understand that participation in sports, including soccer, involves inherent risks of injury, including but not limited to sprains, fractures, concussions, paralysis, or even death. I acknowledge and accept these risks, both known and unknown, and assume full responsibility for my child’s participation.
In consideration of my child’s participation, I, for myself and on behalf of my child, our heirs, assigns, and next of kin, hereby:
Release, waive, and forever discharge Vancouver Rangers Football Club, Pedalheads Soccer Inc., and their respective directors, officers, employees, volunteers, agents, sponsors, affiliates, and facility owners/lessors from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action for injury, loss, or damage incurred as a result of participation in the program, whether arising from negligence or otherwise.
Agree to indemnify and hold harmless all of the above parties from any and all liabilities or claims made as a result of my child’s participation, including but not limited to personal injury, accidents, or property damage.
Emergency Medical Authorization
In the event of an injury or illness affecting my child, I authorize VRFC and its representatives to administer or approve emergency medical care as deemed necessary. I understand that reasonable efforts will be made to contact me first, but if I cannot be reached in time, I give my consent to emergency treatment on behalf of my child.
Media Release
I understand that VRFC and its partners may take photos or video footage during training sessions or events. I hereby grant permission for VRFC to use such images of my child for promotional, marketing, or educational purposes in print, digital, or online formats.
By signing the registration form, I acknowledge that I have read and fully understand this waiver and its terms. I affirm that I am the parent or legal guardian of the participant and that I voluntarily agree to the terms on behalf of my child.
Payment & Commitment Policy
By registering, you are committing to the full Fall/Winter season and agree to pay the full program fee in four (4) installments. The first payment is due at registration, with the remaining three payments automatically charged every two months thereafter.
This is a single-season registration with a payment plan — not separate Fall and Winter registrations. You are financially responsible for the full season fee, regardless of attendance or withdrawal. By enrolling, you agree to complete all payments in full.
If a scheduled payment is declined, reversed, or otherwise not completed (e.g., due to a canceled card or insufficient funds), you remain liable for the full remaining balance. It is your responsibility to ensure payment details are up to date. Failure to make payments may result in your account being sent to collections and could affect future participation.
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations more than two (2) weeks before the season begins are eligible for a full refund.
Cancellations within two (2) weeks of the start date are non-refundable, but may be eligible for a credit toward future programming.
No refunds or credits will be issued after the season begins.
By completing registration, you acknowledge and agree to these terms in full.
Upon commitment to a team, you are financially responsible for all Club fees as stated:
Divisional Fees
1) The total fees for the Fall/Winter season will be $1495 including kit costs. As many members of the club already have the home kit we have offered a registration option minus the home kit costs ($125). This means everyone is responsible for paying the cost of $1370, whilst those who do not own a home kit must select the new player installments to ensure they pay the correct amount to include the home kit ($1495).
2) The payment will be paid in four installments to try to ease the financial burden up front for families
3) Upon registration you will be subject to an initial payment of $342.50 (returning players) or $373.75 (new players) followed by an automatic charge for the remaining three payments on a 2 monthly basis. E.g. If a partipant registers on April 29th their payment plan would be as follows:
April 29th - $342.50 / $373.75
June 29th - $342.50 / $373.75
August 29th - $342.50 / $373.75
October 29th - $342.50 / $373.75
Total = $1370 / $1495
4) This payment will cover all sessions from September 5th - March 6th including two weekly training sessions and all scheduled league games. It will also include home kit (new players), away kit, quarter zip training top, all league fees, all field fees and entry to one tournament per season.
