NOTETAKING WORKSHOP: Taking notes in a writers room can be a daunting task. You're usually the last person hired, often at last minute. And then you're expected to arrive in a room filled with writers and producers and distill thousands of words into a readable document. Libby Butler's interactive workshop aims to reassure emerging writers and arm them with practical skills to confidently take notes in any writers room. Plus, you'll get to take notes in a mock-writers room. Bring your laptop!

SCRIPT COORDINATING WORKSHOP: Working as a script coordinator is a great way for emerging writers to progress their careers - but producers still struggle to fill the role because the skills are not taught as university. And with tight budgets and shortened pre-production it's almost impossible to train someone on the job, so Lewis Mullholand designed a workshop to introduce writers to script coordinating and leave ready for day one of pre-production.

SCRIPT DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOP: Giving notes to writers as a producer or script editor is a minefield, but so is receiving those notes as a writer. Critical analysis of something as personal as a TV show needs to be delicately given so it's heard and listened to, not rejected as 'notes from a suit'. Ruth Underwood's workshop teaches writers and producers how best to handle each other and produce the best work as a result of collaboration. It is often assumed you know how to give notes and recieve feedback. Ruth's workshop tackles this lack of learning head on.
