Training to become a surf lifeguard requires a combination of theory and practical learning over a period of multiple days and sessions. We are very happy to discuss any specific learning requirements and support your learning.

  • We have Surf Lifeguard & Patrol Support training happening in November & December 2026.

    Training Programme for 12 Dec Exam:
    Mon 30 Nov to Fri 4 Dec/Mon 7 to Thu 10 Dec - all sessions 5.30-7.30 | Fri 11 Dec - all day
    Venue - at Club (except for first Mon and last Fri at Katikati Pool)

    Please indicate your availability, and your interest in enrolling on this training course. Note that you would be required to attend on all of the dates - times to be confirmed, but they are full days with an overnight schedule that we encourage you to participate in. There is some flexibility and option to do catch-up sessions if you have to miss any of the days, but this is on a by-exception basis only.
