    Participants will be introduced to the rationale and purpose of using the ADOS-2 Modules 1-4. Instructors will guide participants through the development, administration, coding, calculation and interpretation of the ADOS-2 codes.

    For participants: who have an understanding of autism and the symptoms, including relevant clinical experience.


     Learning Outcomes

    • Introduced to the administration, recording and coding procedures for ADOS-2 Modules 1-4 (Toddler Module is not covered in this training)
    • Have opportunities to observe standardised video administration of all four modules
    • Take part in coding discussions and begin to develop a good understanding of how the ADOS is coded
    • Understand how the ADOS-2 can facilitate the assessment and diagnostic process
    • Understand strengths and limitations of ADOS-2 as a tool to aid the diagnostic assessment process

    All participants are required to purchase/get access to the ADOS-2 Manual prior to the training, bring along the manual to the training. Prior to attending the workshop, you will need to read the ADOS-2 manual.

    If you don’t have access to the kit, please reach out to our team (Annabelle Psychology). We will arrange with you to provide the kit for practice purposes at our Thomson clinic between Day 3 and Day 4 of the training.
