Camp Utopia RENTAL REQUEST

***Rental Timeframe & Rates Explanation:
Rentals are based on 24-hour periods, starting and ending at 12:00pm (Noon).
Check-in is at 12:00pm (Noon) on your arrival day.
Check-out is at 12:00pm (Noon) on your departure day.
You are charged for each 24-hour block (from 12:00pm to 12:00pm).
If you arrive earlier than 12:00pm or depart later than 12:00pm, you will need to add an extra day to your rental to account for the additional time.

📅 Example: Rental Dates:

Check-in: Sept 1 at 12:00pm
Check-out: Sept 4 at 12:00pm
✅ This is a 3-day rental:

Sept 1 @ 12:00pm → Sept 2 @ 12:00pm = Day 1
Sept 2 @ 12:00pm → Sept 3 @ 12:00pm = Day 2
Sept 3 @ 12:00pm → Sept 4 @ 12:00pm = Day 3

⏰ Need Early Arrival or Late Departure?
If you:

Arrive before 12:00pm on Sept 1, or
Leave after 12:00pm on Sept 4
👉 You will need to add an extra rental day to account for the extended time.

✅ Summary:
Always count full 24-hour periods from Noon to Noon when selecting rental dates.
If your arrival or departure falls outside of those Noon times, plan to add a day to avoid any extra fees or conflicts.

1. All activities are to honor the Church of God beliefs regarding moral commitments. There should be no open firearms, no fireworks, no alcohol, and no tobacco on campus at any point in time.

2. The Church of God assumes NO responsibility for accidents, injuries, or incidents which require medical attention or otherwise.

3. The Church of God assumes NO responsibility for theft of personal property.

4. Renting certain facilities have condtions. Those are as followed:
a) Tables must be covered during use.
b) Fishing from the bank only (unless lifeguard present)
c) Fishing is catch and release.

5. Alabama Church of God will NOT provide the following, unless otherwise stipulated:
a) Insurance for medical liability of the individuals using the facility.
b) Lifeguards for both men and women, if pool is rented.
c) Food, personnel or other unless agreed upon in writing before the date of rental.

6. Renters must provide the following upon approval:
a) A non-refundable deposit equal to one-half of total rental amount to secure rental dates. The remaining balance due should be submitted at least 30 days in advance.
b) Certificate of insurance with all attachable or applicable riders showing proof of both medical and liability coverage.
c) Lifeguard(s) name and copy of certification certificate issued by the American Red Cross or an alternate certification program recognized by the state of Alabama.

7. The Church of God commits to providing clean facilities and the renter agrees to leave the grounds in the same condition as was present at the time of rental occupancy.

8. IF damages occur during a rental period, the cost of repairs or replacements becomes the responsibility of the renting party. 

9. Alabama Church of God maintains an approval process for all camp rentals, and we reserve the right to approve or deny all outside requests. Please note that completion of following contract does not guarantee your rental. Allow 3-5 business days for a response from an Alabama Church of God representative. If approved, you will be instructed on how to proceed with payment to secure your selected dates.

I hereby certify that I will report and be responsible for any damage caused by any person in my party to the property of the Church of God Camp. I have read the Camp Utopia Rental Policy and am in full agreement with its stipulations. Signature of responsible party to this agreement would constitute agreement with its stipulations. Violations of this agreement will constitute forfeiture of rights to use the facility and loss of any revenues collected at the time.
