    September 30th at 5:30 pm - Lakeside Lab

    Course Topics

    • History and current opportunities for conservation in Iowa
    • Iowa's landform, forests, prairies, wetlands and rivers
    • Communicating Conservation

    Course Format

    Online, self-paced lessons from Iowa State University experts paired with in-person demonstrations and discussions led by local conservations leaders and educators.

    Where: Featured conservation locations in Dickinson County - weekly meeting location will be communicated prior, based on weather forecast

    Fee: $30 (includes all course materials & a light supper each week) 

    Registration deadline: August 15th (minimum of 6 participants)

  • Participants need to be prepared for traveling to various locations in Dickinson County, for walking on uneven surfaces, and to dress appropriately for spending time outdoors.
